Today was Maiya's first basketball game with the Venice Youth Council. Their team started practicing a few months ago. All of the girls are 5 years old, and they named themselves the Superstars and just got their uniforms yesterday. They played pretty well, against a team of 9 boys from the San Fernando Valley. They don't keep score, but I think that our team made 2-3 baskets, and so did the boys from the Valley.
