Ikebana, preschool art (#11)

Here is Maiya's first Ikebana.  She made this in Japanese class at preschool back earlier this summer.  I love that the Japanese cultural art of flower arranging, is part of Maiya's preschool curriculum.

We took this picture for Grandma Machi, who used to do flower arranging when I was growing up.  It took me a few minutes to clear off the table to take the picture.
